This is our twelve day Luxury Hajj itinerary for 2027, sitting in the middle of the three shorter Luxury departures we run. It suits pilgrims who want a full pilgrimage without a long absence from work or family, and who would rather spend on comfort and location than on extra nights away.
Accommodation is 5 star throughout: the Swissotel Makkah in Makkah and the Madinah Hilton in Madinah, with eleven hotel nights in total across both cities and the days of Hajj. The Makkah booking is non shifting, so your room is held for the whole of your stay there and you are not moved to a second hotel partway through. Bags stay where you left them, and you keep the same routine and the same reception desk from arrival to departure.
The package covers your Hajj visa, return flights from the UK, hotels in both cities, transport within Saudi Arabia, and the days of Hajj in Mina and Arafat. An experienced UK group leader travels with the group from departure to return, so there is always a familiar face to ask.
The price is £9,950 per person, based on sharing. That figure is a starting point rather than a final quote, and we are happy to talk it through. Al Kamil Travel has been arranging pilgrimage from Nelson, Lancashire since 2021.
As part of the prestigious Abraj Al Bait complex, the luxurious Swissotel Makkah is a contemporary 5-star hotel situated only 100 m from the holy Masjid Al Haraam, overlooking the Kaaba, as well as the entire Masjid. All contemporary accommodations at Swissotel are decorated with printed carpeted floors. Each suite gives a spacious seating area with a flat-screen TV and a mini-bar. A marble bathroom is also included. Al Ruwad Restaurant gives fine dining with a selection of mouth-watering seasonal specialties, while at Café Swiss a combination of international and traditional cuisine is served. Room service is also available 24 hours. Swissotel Makkah gives a fully equipped business Centre, providing guests with everything they need to stay on top of their work. With private entrances that make it easier for pilgrims to reach the Masjid Al Haram, Swissotel is also the only property in the Abraj Al-Bait Endowment with direct access through Ajyad Street. King Abdulaziz International Airport is 50 miles away from Swissotel Makkah. Laundry and ironing can be arranged by the 24-hour front desk.
The Madinah Hilton Hotel is located only a short walk from the Holy Mosque, right in the Centre of Madinah's shopping district. It gives rooms with satellite TV. Every room is air-conditioned and some have a seating area. A work desk and a minibar are fitted in all accommodation. Madinah Hilton Hotel has an array of shops on the ground floor. The hotel also gives a 24-hour reception, a business centre and a tour desk. Guests can enjoy a meal of conventional Arabian delicacies in the hotel’s Madinah Restaurant while admiring the view of the Holy Mosque. Madinah Hilton gives room service as well. Prince Mohammed Airport is just 25 minutes' drive away.
